Joe received his Bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee, his Master's degree from Murray State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Memphis. He has been a college Dean and professor of Leadership and Management. He left his position at the University level to found Leaderpoint Consulting. This company consulted with business leaders at more than half of the Fortune 500 companies. He was a member of the National Speaker Association and spoke throughout the country.
In 2007, following a calling, Joe left his Consulting firm and along with his friend, Kyle Rote, Jr., began In The Zone Ministries. The ministry has presented many national and regional conferences, and has featured some of the most successful Christian men in America as they have shared their faith, and journey.
Joe and Kyle wrote a highly successful book, Living Life In The Zone. It is a 40-day study and was published by Thomas Nelson. Since that book Joe has written two additional books, 1+1=3, a book for women on how to help their husbands become the man God intended him to be. The Passion, is a year-long study for men, which includes video, And his most recent book is Walking In His Steps.
Joe writes a daily devotional, The Daily Huddle, that is currently sent out to over 15,000 subscribers. If you would like to receive The Daily Huddle, there is a section to help you subscribe.
Joe is a popular speaker for men and women's events at churches throughout the country. His humor, real life experience of being married 45 years, and his engaging style makes him a great speaker for your next event. Joe is currently doing events for men in their homes, via simulcast. A great way to continue having men's events and at the same time practice social distancing.
Don't let the current state of our country stop you from engaging your men and women. Their problems and concerns are even greater than ever. Let Joe and his staff help start a Bible Study online, speak to your members in their home or offices, and most of all--keep them engaged with the Church and furthering their relationship with Jesus Christ.
