About Joe

Joe received his Bachelors degree from the University of Tennessee, his Master's degree from Murray State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Memphis. He has been a college Dean and professor of Leadership and Management.  He left his position at the University level to found Leaderpoint Consulting.  This company consulted with business leaders at more than half of the Fortune 500 companies.  He is a member of the National Speaker Association and speaks throughout the country.

In 2007, following a calling, Joe left his Consulting firm and along with his friend, Kyle Rote, Jr., began In The Zone Ministries.  The ministry has presented many national and regional conferences, and has featured some of the most successful Christian men in America as they have shared their faith, and journey.

Joe and Kyle wrote a highly successful book, Living Life In The Zone.  It is a 40-day study and was published by Thomas Nelson.  Since that book, Joe has written two additional books, 1+1=3, a book for women on how to help their husbands become the man God intended him to be.  Walking In His Steps, is a year-long study, which includes video,
