Why this book?
Life is filled with twists and turns—days that are smooth sailing and others where the waves seem insurmountable. For Christians navigating the complexities of life, a 365-day devotional is far more than a book of reflections. It’s a daily companion, a lifeline, and a gentle nudge to keep your heart and mind centered on what truly matters. Devotionals create space in your day for quiet reflection—a sacred pause in the rhythm of life. With each passing day, they invite you to consider the deeper truths of your faith. A 365-day devotional gives you the opportunity to develop a habit of turning to God consistently, even when life feels hectic. Imagine starting each day grounded in peace, equipped with encouragement, and reminded of the grace that carries you forward. Consistency builds connection. Much like building a friendship, your relationship with God grows deeper when nurtured daily. Through reflections that meet you where you are, a devotional fosters this connection, helping you carry God’s word in your heart as you move through each day. This book is a continuation to Joe's-The Daily Huddle which is currently sent out each morning and read more than two million times each year. Several churches are using this as a devotional where all members are reading the same thing each day. Imagine, every morning you know that you are reading the same thing as your friends or church members. It is also popular for families, especially when they live far apart—it is a way to keep them together. One beautiful aspect of a year-long devotional is its ability to align with the seasons of life. A 365-day guide also enables us to show up for ourselves in ways we often forget. While we eagerly pour into family, friends, and work, how often do we pour into our own hearts? A devotional serves as a gentle, daily reminder to tend to the garden of your faith. You might wonder, “Is this for me? Can a simple daily practice really make a difference?” The answer is unequivocally yes. Whether you’ve just started your faith journey or have walked with God for decades, carving out a daily moment with Him can transform your perspective, priorities, and peace of mind. The style you will find in My Daily Huddle, has been tested. For seven years Joe has send The Daily Huddle out to thousands. Over the sever years, more than eight million people have read one of these devotionals. So if you are looking for something that is relevant, tested and most of all Biblical, My Daily Huddle is for you.
Why this book?
Grandparents are some of the greatest storytellers in our lives. Their stories are laced with lessons, wisdom, and love—tiny treasures gifted to their grandchildren to guide them through life. But have you ever wondered why they share these stories? It’s because they want their grandchildren to learn from their experiences, to find the same joys that filled their hearts, and avoid the mistakes that caused them pain. This book is inspired by that special gift grandparents aim to pass down—a deep wish for their legacy to grow into someone kind, wise, and strong.
The "Paul Harvey letter to his grandchildren" written in the 1960’s, was not an actual letter written by Paul Harvey himself, but rather a fictionalized piece often circulating online that captures his famous storytelling style. It shared life lessons and values he would want his grandchildren to learn. If grandparents could pass along lessons to their grandchildren, they wouldn't come from textbooks or lectures—they'd be lessons shaped by life, faith, and experience. These are the principles you wish for them to carry as they grow, learn, and lead lives of meaning. Our hope for our grandchildren isn’t that they live a perfect life. It’s that they live a life full of faith, love, and courage, holding onto the truth that God is with them every step of the way. That’s exactly what your grandparents want you to know about life. Whether it’s school, sports, or a creative hobby, the things you work hard at have the sweetest rewards. They’ve seen it time and again in their own lives, and they want you to know that every bit of effort you put in matters. The next time you feel like giving up, picture your grandparents cheering you on, reminding you how good it feels to reach a goal you’ve worked hard for. They believe in you completely. And you can believe in yourself as well. Through all these lessons—kindness, hard work, resilience, love, and curiosity—there’s one thing grandparents want their grandchildren to remember. You are loved, more than you can imagine.
Why this book?
The GamePlan experience was created for the men of your church to help them fight the cultural battles of our world, while influencing their family and friends for Jesus Christ. Your men will relate to how our worldly culture tries to intimidate us into becoming politically correct instead of Biblically obedient. The GamePlan will empower men (of whatever generation they represent) to understand that God’s Word is just as applicable today as it ever was! Life is chaotic—it pulls us in a thousand directions, each competing for our time, energy, and attention. At work, we’re driven to succeed; at home, we shoulder responsibilities to provide and protect. The pressure mounts, and many of us wrestle with one core question in the quiet moments (if we allow ourselves any): Am I the man God created me to be? You're not alone in asking that. It’s a question millions of Christian men like you grapple with daily. The beauty of this question isn’t just in the answer but in the process of becoming—a continual pursuit to align with God’s purpose for our lives, even in the midst of relentless chaos. One of the greatest misconceptions about being a man is equating our value solely with what we provide. Society pushes us to measure success in numbers—zeros in bank accounts, errands checked off the list, or milestones hit. While these things are important, God’s calling is about so much more. God has a vision for you that’s greater than the sum of your achievements. He’s called you to be present, intentional, and courageous in your faith. He desires that you lead not only in action but also in character, showing compassion, resilience, and humility in how you love and serve others. Too often, the world tells us strong men must handle everything on their own. It's tempting to carry burdens silently and soldier on no matter the weight. But isolation can erode the spirit. God created us for community—and not just any community, but one built on support, accountability, and shared faith. Being the man God wants you to be doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a daily choice, a commitment to learn, grow, and lean into His grace. There will be mistakes, yes. But every fall is an opportunity to rise stronger, anchored more deeply in faith. This is a great book for men to read alone or even better for them to read in a men’s group.
Why this book?
Understanding what men want in their marriage is difficult. The Word of God has a great deal to say about both what women want and what men want. Many books have been written to help men understand what women want. However, women are the ones that purchase and read most books that are sold-not men. This book is different! Marriage is a sacred union, a partnership designed by God to reflect His love and grace. Yet, understanding what your husband truly desires can sometimes feel challenging. For Christian women striving to nurture a Christ-centered marriage, gaining insight into what men want isn’t about meeting cultural expectations or living up to outside pressures. Instead, it’s about deepening your connection and partnership, fostering trust, respect, and mutual love within the framework God has set for marriage.
When we think about what men want in a marriage, it’s easy to lean on clichés or stereotypes. But in reality, most men, like women, yearn for something far more meaningful—a wife who sees them, hears them, and affirms them as both a partner and an individual. This doesn’t mean marriage is perfect or free from struggles. Instead, it’s an imperfectly beautiful space to grow together. Men desire a sense of partnership. They also deeply value respect—a concept rooted in the Bible and echoed in many marriage teachings. Respect reflects acknowledgment of a man’s efforts, leadership, and contributions to your shared life. It’s less about perfection and more about how he is loved and supported in the unique role he plays within your union. Finally, men appreciate intimacy—not just physical intimacy, but the closeness that arises from personal, meaningful connection. This comes from learning the ways your husband best receives love and committing to showing him care in a way that speaks to his heart. It’s less about the grand gestures and more about the consistency of everyday love.

Welcome to this 40-day study—a sacred opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and deepen your relationship with Him. Whether you feel lost, overwhelmed, or simply yearning for something more, this guide invites you to take meaningful steps toward spiritual growth, one day at a time.
Growing in faith is not about grand gestures; it’s about consistency, surrender, and an open heart. It’s about looking beyond the busyness of life and setting aside daily moments to connect with Jesus. This may feel new or even daunting, but like any relationship, it requires time, effort, and intentionality. Each day, you’ll offer reflections, challenges, and encouragement to help you grow as a believer. Like a seed planted in fertile soil, your faith will deepen as you nurture it through prayer, gratitude, and quiet reflection. Throughout the 40 days, you’ll uncover new dimensions of Jesus’ character and see how His teachings can transform every corner of your life—from your work and relationships to the moments of stillness in between. You’ll reflect on His love, His grace, and His boundless patience, which remains constant even when we fall short. Whether you’re reading at sunrise with a cup of coffee or winding down before bed, commit this to Jesus. The most important thing is to start—not with hesitation but with trust that He is ready to meet you right where you are. Remember, this 40-day journey isn’t something you walk alone, you are a part of a group. No matter where you find yourself in your faith, Jesus walks alongside you. Lean into that truth today as you open your heart to Him. Take this moment to pause, breathe, and invite Jesus into your day. Commit to letting Him work in your life—not because you have to, but because He longs for you to experience His fullness. One day at a time, together, we’ll uncover just how deeply He desires a relationship with you. You may have participated in a church wide study before, if you haven’t you are in for something special. This is designed for church to split into small groups of around twelve members and get together each week to discuss their progress. At the end of the 40-days all groups can meet together for a closing session. Your walk in the steps of Jesus is waiting.
